Goodradigbee Cultural and Heritage Aboriginal Corporation (GCAHAC) is a non-government, not for profit corporation. We are dedicated to delivering cultural appropriate support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.

Goodradigbee delivers a holistic model that provides whole of person care without discrimination. This includes under pinning social determinants that impact heavily on the health and well-being of individuals & families in our community. GCAHAC can also provide advocacy in areas including Housing, Centrelink, Schools, Child Safety & Probation & Parole.

Goodradigbee Cultural and Heritage Aboriginal Corporation successfully acquired provision accreditation status with the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian in March 2024 to provide foster care support services.

Currently, Goodradigbee Cultural and Heritage Aboriginal Corporation has been funded to deliver the Permanency Support Program, a program that provides tailored services to vulnerable children so that they can grow up in stable, secure and loving homes.

  1. The Permanency Support Program has three goals:
  2. Fewer entries into care – by keeping families together
  3. Shorter time in care – by returning children home

A better care experience – by supporting children’s individual needs and their recovery from trauma

Under the Permanency Support Program, caseworkers work with a child and the people who love and care for that child, to identify the best permanency goal – and to attain that goal within two years.
